How to Increase Traffic to Your location in Second Life?  ( your store, business, gallery, club, you name it..)

meta-LIFE provides you with a free metaVOTER, which will help you Increase your Targeted Traffic.

metaVOTER allows people to VOTE for your land, every vote - will increase it's ratings on metaTRAVEL search results ( metaTRAVEL is a Social Gridmarking Service sort of Digg.com for Second Life), which in turn will increase your targeted trafic.

How does it work?

There is only 1 step: 

1.   Place VOTER in your land ( we encourage you to use some spot where people gather )

Other things to remember:

• Now your visitors can vote by clicking the "VOTE" button!
• You can edit picture your voter displays by going to : My Voters
• The more people VOTE on this kiosk - the better your place will be ranked on metaLIFE search results
• Better position it has - the more traffic you will get! ( plain and simple)

Where can I get it?

To get a metaVOTER, just teleport to metaLIFE's headquarters in-world and click  on metaVENDOR.

How to refer people to metaLIFE via voter?

People will be able to get metaHUD via this voter - and you will be accounted as their referrer. For more information please read partners section.

FAQ

How Can I Change the picture on the Voter?
- Go to My Voters select the VOTER which you want to display different picture and edit it. then simply past tecture UUID, you want displayed on this VOTER (Please note that picture with VOTER 1.0 - picture will change within 24 hours)

Can I make it smaller or bigger?
- Yes we have granted modify permissions for doing this, so just edit it and make as big or as small as you like it (for example you can make it smaller and put it on the table)

What if I don't want it to show the picture?
- Just click on the picture and it will disappear! Click again on the picture region region and it will appear again! only the owner of VOTER can do that!

Can I place multiple VOTERS?
- yes, actually the more you place, the better the chance that people will see it and vote for your land.

What if my friends want one for their land?
- just ask them to get the HUD from your VOTER, and then they will be able find it in the HUD ( TIP: go to Items tab, and enter /8 meta and click Enter)

When will my picture change if I changed it on Land properties?
- We are sweeping all VOTER locations every few days, so that's how long should automatic picture change take. Off course you can allways change it manually, if you go to My Voters.
