How to find my listed items?

After you put your items into metaBOX, return to meta-LIFE.net, click My Account, My items. Select Inactive status and click Apply. You will get a list of all your items in metaLIFE, but not listed for sale yet.

You must be logged in in order to do this. If you dont have account yet, click here.

 

How to edit my items?

While you are in My items click Edit on item you want to list for sale. The following fields will appear for editing item.

 

Display name. Enter name for better managing your items in metaLIFE. This name will be displayed only under My Items.

Price. Enter price for your item. If you leave default price -1, item will not be listed in metaLIFE. Enter 0 if you want to sell item as a freebie.

Number of prims. Enter number of your item prims.

Mature content. Please select YES if item you are listing has adult content.

Permissions. Please specify which item permissions are enabled.

Main item picture UUID key. If You load pictures into metaBOX - you will be able to pick them using a drop-down list. Otherwise Copy-Paste items picture asset UUID in this field.  For displaying pictures metaLIFE servers are reading them straight from Linden Labs server.  If To get it, go in your inventory, right-clicking over texture and choosing "Copy Asset UUID." Note this will only work on items that you have full permissions to. Read more about it in Second Life Wiki.

IMPORTANT: To prevent for content without pictures, items without pictures will not be listed in metaHUD and metaVENDOR. Also new pictures added to the system are being downloaded from external services to our server. Usually it takes up to 30min to get these pictures. During this time picture might not be displayed properly on website. Please let us know if after 1h pictures are still not displayed properly.

TIP: if you have already assigned your textures to your items - you can delete them from your metaBOX'es

Second picture UUID key. Shows second picture for item. This function works only in metaHUD.

Third picture UUID key. Shows third picture for item. This function works only in metaHUD.

TAGS. Enter keywords you think customers will use searching for your item. This will increase chance of finding your items. List of keywords has to be separated by comma.

 

When you done with editing, click save button and your item will be listed for sale in metaLIFE.

 

FAQ

I don't want to sell particular item. How can i stop listing it in metaLIFE?

Click Edit on selected item under My items. Enter -1 in price field. Item will appear in inactive list instantly.
