Sharing a metaPRESENTER screen
How can a single metaPRESENTER screen be used by different presenters? Here are the situations:
1) More than one person being able to present the same presentation at different times on the same metaPRESENTER. For example, an institutional introductory presentation that is given by different professors to their respective classes in a shared classroom.
2) Professors from different courses who share the same classroom. They want to project their respective classroom presentations to their students on the single metaPRESENTER screen that is in the classroom.
I've tried having each professor use their own HUD's for the metaPRESENTER but only my HUD seems to work. In other words, only I can use the screen.

Thanks Freeman. Yes, the presenters are all in the same group as the metaPRESENTER and the associated HUD. However, I have not tried "Deed"ing the metaPRESENTER to the group. Not sure if that will make any difference. I'll check.
I imagine someone has got this working since it is a common requirement to share a screen, as in RL.
For fun I just had a look at a metaPRESENTER
and HUD for a few minutes.
What I noticed that may be a help is this:
In addition to the general tab of the screen's
edit window having a "share with group" checkbox
that I didn't mention in my last post, if you go
into the content tab and right click the
"slideshow script" and choose "properties" there
is also a "share with group" checkbox there as
well. These all seem to be default unchecked.
Worth a try, and the HUD has the same on it's
general tab and display script properties.
One other thing I thought of, if you own the
land and have scripts turned off, they would
work for you but not for others. Not sure how
groups are affected by that one.

I took your suggestion and made sure that the metaPRESENTER and the HUD were set to "share with group", including the contents (scripts and all). Sill no luck, The HUD works OK for someone else (can go to the Next and Previous slides in the HUD) but this does not get reflected in the metaPRESENTER screen. The screen does not change. There is something preventing the screen from taking what the HUD gives it.
One thing I should mention after reading this.
I found it a bit unintuitive that I had to
click the current image in the HUD to get
it up on the screen. I am used to just
clicking to next image on a slide projector.
Could this be the case?
It is considered a feature though as having
that next image thumbnail in advance allows
you to prepare in your mind for the next
part of the talk.
The HUD works well for me and displays the images properly on the metaPRESENTER. The HUD works well as well for another avatar but not the metaPRESENTER.
Okay, well one final thought before I shut up. 
A workaround I thought of until you figure out the
proper way, might be to sell the presenter to each other
for L$0.
Also, Auris has been and gone here and didn't post
on this thread, so IM'ing him inworld might be the
best plan.
Wait..that was 2 thoughts.
I got a reply in SL from the metaPRESNETER folks and they said that only the owner of the screen can control it. If you want a colleague to control it, you have to give your colleague the screen and HUD, have him/her rez it and then they can control ti. So, issue is finally solved! Thanks so much for your very thoughtful help.

I'm not sure, but until someone who knows can reply:
I'd try making sure the metaPRESENTER is assigned to a group you are all in.
(Wear the group tag, right click the metaPRESENTER and on the General tab
to the right of "Group:" click set. No need to deed the object to group)
Each presenter would then need to be wearing the group tag.
This is the common SL method for having more than one person
use the same oject.
Just a guess, but worth a try if you haven't already.
