UPDATE: KIOSK's has been renamed to VENDOR's

Those of you who are using metaKIOSK's will love this!

Did you had a problem of choosing a location where to place your vendors? Should you place them in this or that mall? Where traffic is better? How many users will see your vendors? How your marketing campaigns influences traffic? On average how many visits generates how many sales? And so on...

To help you with these questions we have added a possibility to monitor metaKIOSK traffic. Now you can see how many users visits your locations with metaKIOSK's. This means you will have information that you need, you will know how many users see your items, you will know how marketing helps you to influence traffic, you will know many sales you are making from a traffic.

To see traffic numbers go to your kiosks list and click on traffic link.
This is an example:

On the X axis you can see days of the month. On Y axis you can see how many avatars visited metaKIOSK.

 

It is amazing how many great things in Second Life are created by it's residents. Some of these creations are real art masterpieces, some really complicated programmed objects or combination of both worlds art and technology. People with different skills has to cooperate to create these miracles. It's not a rare situation when group of people is working to create and to sell various products.

To make life easier we have added a possibility to share profit of sold item with your coworkers or partners. All you have to do is to create coworkers group, add your partners to it and assign this group to item. When item will be sold via metaLIFE your profit will be shared with coworkers group members.

See below for detailed steps how to create add use coworkers groups.

1) Go to your dashboard and click on My coworkers groups

Couple of days ago we have launched notification system via emails. From now on you can get your sales report straight to your inbox. Report includes list of all your sales via metaLIFE platform including free items. Currently report is sent every 24h (if you had any sales during this period).

If you want to receive these notifications please go to your Balance page, expand "E-mail reports" section and make sure that you have selected "Yes" option. Also if you do not have your e-mail specified yet there will be a field displayed to populate your email. Later you can always change email in your account settings.

We have added a list of recent terminal location to front page. Links leads to slurl's of these locations, so you can teleport there easily. Once you have teleported near by one of these in-world stations you can use them to get metaLIFE tools, view your account balance, reset password, etc. in any of these locations. Hope this will be useful for you, good luck.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then how much is for video? It is a lot, we think. And because of that we have implemented a possibility to add video for items sold via metaLIFE marketplace. As a result of that we are seeing more and more videos being added, and you know what? They are really useful and interesting.
