metaLIFE is creating a system which empowers active residents working in Second Life to achieve your goals. Such system can't achieve perfection, it can only be on constant improvement path. So we have just released a new version of metaKIOSK which is about giving you 2 easier ways to increase your Brand awareness and refer people!
Up till now it was pretty difficult to join and use metaBRANDS! Major reason - because person had to go through web registration process, then find and join the right brand, finally rez the metaKIOSK and assign it to selected brand via KIOSK list. A lot to learn for a new user, which just got their feet wet with metaLIFE system!
This process just got A LOT EASIER with latest release of metaKIOSK 1.4! By saying that I truly mean it. None of the hassles of registering, joining the brand, assigning your metaKIOSK to brand etc.. are needed any more. Now the process is simple : just GET already Branded KIOSK and just Rez It! Once done - KIOSK will automatically set itself to the same brand.
With 1.4 version - it's that simple.
New ways to raise awareness of your Brand
For brand owners this creates a whole new set of opportunities. The process is simple - first you do the "hard work" (which is very easy) of assigning a KIOSK to your Brand(via your KIOSK list), once done all you will need to do is take it into your inventory. Now you can give it to whomever you want - and whenever this person rezzes your given Branded KIOSK it will automatically assign itself to Brand you assigned it at!
Tip: you can take the next step and create a box and stuff it with your branded KIOSK's, set this box to give away it's contents when somebody touches it. From this moment everybody who get's contents and rezzes their KIOSK's will automatically start selling for your brand! Or you can even list this KIOSK on XStreet :) or any other place, as your affiliate Vendor. This new improvement just created lots of Opportunities for you guys.
2'nd improvement : Referring people to metaLIFE just got "pimped"
metaLIFE has an affiliate program, which allows you to refer people to metaLIFE. When those people perform activities which include L$ spending, you get a certain commission. Another improvement that came with the latest metaKIOSK upgrade is about Referring people to metaLIFE - which again got A LOT EASIER! Lots of people requested this feature for a very long time. To refer people to metaLIFE previously you had to have one of metaLIFE's tools rezzed at your location: a KIOSK or a VOTER and when someone touches metaTOOLS button and gets one of metaLIFE's tools - you become a referrer of that person. Well that's how it used to be until this KIOSK release. Now you can refer people just by giving a KIOSK right from your inventory ( IMPORTANT: first rez the KIOSK, and take it into your inventory, that's the only way for a KIOSK to know who was the previous owner of it!).
What does this mean?
Now you can simply GIVE AWAY Branded KIOSK's that will also record you as the referrer of people you give this KIOSK to. Put in simple words - every KIOSK you give away, will also make you a referrer for later income for these people activities via metaLIFE.

P.S. Mentioned are not the only upgrades to metaKIOSK, some technical and optimization steps were also taken! Current KIOSK is faster and more reliable then any previous one, so if you have any older KIOSK's I would suggest changing them to latest version.
