We have launched an ad in XStreet, and right after that we noticed a spike in users comming from XStreet, also one user repordet to us about a discussion happening on thier blogs!

Reflecting to this post - let me tell you couple things relevant to it. Second Life is a huge world, there is space even for few marketplaces, be they on web, in-world or some else place! OnRez was a great solution in this field and with OnRez gone this place needs some good solutions.
metaLIFE is built from ground up, we are working to create a very unique service and experience, you can already experience that by simply playing with our FREE in-world tools or just by learning more about what is metaLIFE's Grid-Wide marketplace! 
 
Yes - today metaLIFE is almost all about selling items via metaLIFE's grid-wide marketplace(therefore some might think we are building yet another competitor to XStreet). Marketplace is going to be one of many services and ways metaLIFE empowers people across Second Life, as we will continue to work on adding various new services and tools which will  allow you to interact and operate in and out of Second Life - empowering you on many levels!
